Physical sun and sky help

Can someone please tell me what the best file format to render in is which includes the physical sky that can also be opened in Premiere.

  2. *.tif (uncompressed) is the best format to use quality-wise, but unfortunatly due to the files larger size, premiere may have issues importing it.


    Personally, I would recommend using *.tif format and then after effects to import the image sequence and render it to a movie.

    This will
    a) process the image sequence much faster and better than premire allowing for any seperate render layers or layers with mattes to be composited together

    b) also allows you the opertunity to tweek anything before the editing process, (color adjustment, inclusion of other visual effects etc..)

    After Effects is often an overlooked powerfull tool to use, although premiere has recently incorperated many of its features into the CS4-CS5 suite, it will still not be the same or as efficiant as After Effects.

  3. thanks i tried tiff but the sky didn't render behind the geometry, i have rendered out the sky as a series of high quality jpegs.
