CGAA One-A-Day: A Realm Reborn - End of an Era (a.k.a. Disconnect and the 'Trailer Trauma')

This is from a distant standpoint (I'm not exactly sure about the story) so am not going to criticise. In a nutshell, the general reception relating to the controversial aspects of this game.

If for a moment we separate the trailer from the product and any notions of "deceptive advertising"
- as is usually the case with video game trailers (a really good example is "Dead Island") - it is technically, very interesting. It is always great to stumble upon material that is emotionally evocative given it's short running time. Lots of meticulous details going on; beautiful soundtrack and beautiful render.

  3. Square-Enix and the Final Fantasy brand have always been synonymous with beautiful, high quality visuals. The stories they tell have been constantly degrading, but their visuals are always pushing the limits. This video was beautifully poignant and inspirational. I've lost track of which Final Fantasy is what nowadays, is this the reboot of the failed MMORPG that was so poorly received that they took it offline to redo it completely? (How big a disaster is that, it's comparable to the Ghost Rider film being so awful that they have to remake it to try again. Poor show)
But seriously, if you want beautiful, technically brilliant, inspirational visuals and androgynous characters, then look no further than Final Fantasy videos.

I'm a fan of this one in particular : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6At_bb1PNU
