Philip Cooper is an artist living and working between London and Berlin, who uses collage to create his spare, expressionistic landscapes, first working up swatches of brush marks, textures and painterly impressions before cutting and shaping them into places, spaces and vistas. Philip's images reward close scrutiny and are a 'must see' for any CGAA student interested in alternate ways of essentialising form and colour, in texture, and working up innovative production drawings. You can see more of Philip's image and technique here.

Wow - these rock. Love the illusionistic three-dimensionality and sense of space.
