It doesn't matter how vague, sketchy or provisional, but Alan and I are keen that you get your ideas for your Minor Projects up on your blogs in advance of the start of term - and certainly in advance of your first tutorials with us. We'd like to get a sense of where you're at and how much thinking you've been doing over the long, hot Summer. It's no exaggeration to say that final year successes begin early - with clear-thinking and the ability to commit to suitably ambitious ideas in realistic and pragmatic ways.
Our message is simply this: if you're waiting for the beginning of term to have your great idea, don't. Share it now, and get some feedback. You need to make week one count - and every day after that. Bring it on, ladies and gents!
