Quick blog today – just a
little bit of Maya advice!
Maya has a nasty habit of
freezing, crashing, or just refusing to open a tool. Obviously you need to regularly save
manually, but you can also enable Autosave.
This means you can roll back in case a save goes bad or Maya has an
issue – it can be easier to go back 10 minutes and redo something than try and
fix it.
Autosave is not switched on
by default. To enable it go to:
Window>Settings/Preferences>Settings>Files/Projects>Autosave
and check “enable”.
