We've got some new recruits heading our way and we're going to need some tough sons of bitches to mentor them.... well, actually, I'm looking for any second or third years who would be happy to adopt two or 3 first years - via their blogs - and just work with them during the first five weeks of their new term - i.e. for the duration of the Invisible Cities project, which we know can be a challenge in terms of cranking out the required work, at the required speed, and at the required quality. Mentoring is one of those things that only really works if you actually roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, so if you think you've got what it takes to be a force for good, then let me know via a comment on this blog, or via a follow-up email. I'm going to be looking for at least 12 - 15 mentors, so don't be a stick-in-the-mud. If you remember how and when and why you struggled to make the leap onto CAA proper, then do the decent thing and get on board. I look forward to hearing from you.
